Two years ago James Gameboy asked for the BPM and stems to my track "Seasonal", a simple track featuring a reverbed piano loop and a plodding drum track. When he returned it to me, it had become a beautifully moody track complete with wailing guitar and gorgeous vocals. It was then we realized we had the perfect formula: what if a genuinely talented and unique musician and a less than mediocre guy who liked the paulstretch feature on Audacity got together? Well, I imagine it would sound something like this. I'm the second guy, by the way. To also be sincere, as I am copying JGB's description format(I put mine first because SZ appears first on the EP title but he wrote his before mine. I love riding this guys coattails), I think this EP is a really good synthesis of our respective styles. JGB specializes in full and unique sounding pop, rock, and synthwave, and I work with soundscapes, ambience, things that focus on creating a far away space. I created some more space in his tracks, you know, by pressing C on a pad or whatever, and he made full sounding tracks that are all worth 1 million dollars each. Either I added my own digression to fit them into the track listing and give them a little spice, or he allowed me to put my own spin on/mangle his pristine work for some reason. It's too late now, I have attached myself to his rising star and he is legally obligated to let me live in his upcoming mansion.

This EP is the result of not very much work over the course of 2 years. However, I don't think that means that you, the music loving populous, should consider this to be any less a masterpiece than Sergeant Pepper's, Led Zeppelin IV, The Wall, or any other album I tell people I like but truthfully have never listened to because I'm busy playing video games. In all sincerity, I believe this is a good album for walking around at night to get out of one's own head. Starless Zenith's soundscapes help project your mind onto the evening sky, allowing for the abstraction of life's woes and the reorganization of neurons. I also contributed some music. I hope that you enjoy Much Better Computer and that it provides some salve for the annoyances and inconsistencies of life in the 21st century. Everybody around after that: you're on your own.
